The GreenHaven Continuous
Commodity Index Fund (GCC) is a statutory trust
that attempts to mirror the performance of the GreenHaven Continuous
Commodity Index Master Fund. This Master Fund is a subsidiary of the
Fund and the Managing Owner. The fund seeks to replicate, net
of expenses, the Continuous Commodity Total Return Index. The index is
an equal weighted basket of 17 commodities: corn, wheat, soybeans, live
cattle, lean hogs, gold, platinum, silver, copper, cocoa, coffee,
sugar, cotton, orange juice, crude oil, heating oil and natural gas.
The fund will invest its collateral cash in US Treasuries.
